Yoooooo, if you aren’t keen to what all-star producer Focus has been doing with his Homage joints, then you need to jump off a cliff. I got to chop it up with him one day, and even heard this joint before it was complete, and I was floored with what he had poppin’. He explained that before he creates one of these masterpieces, he will listen to the artist to understand their vibe. Then he will re-create their sound by using the same equipment etc, in order for it to be authentic.
