Here it is. Finally complete, the GetDownSon, Rise to Power Mixtape Vol. 1 is out and it’s killin’ the North Cack. It’s not often that you can find a compilation so full of so many dope artists from NC. & the crazy thing is, that it sounds like a cohesive release, not like a bunch of random songs thrown together for the sake of it. Shoutout to AWOL for working his ass off in putting this project together, and for throwing a dope Release Party last weekend. We need more people like him in the scene, promoting the music that we all work so hard to create. the NC Hip Hop community is one of the strongest and biggest out, so get involved and do your part to keep it going.
